Ruth Fairbrother: Harebells in a Sea Breeze

Boulby Cliffs on the North Yorkshire coast can be hostile and bleak, but in summer harebells flower there in profusion, softening the cliff edges in the sunshine. The cliffs are high and the air is rarely still, and so Harebells in a Sea Breeze is very much of the place, flowers swaying amongst the grasses, set against the blue sea and sky.
